Welcome

I am a Kenya Theatre Awards playwright nominee, interpreter, and language educator. I write plays, poems, short stories, and novels that explore the human experience through the cadence and richness of the Swahili language.

My stage play Picha recently earned two prestigious Kenya Theatre Awards in 2025: Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role. I was also nominated for Best Playwright – Original Script, recognition that continues to strengthen my commitment to creating and promoting stories that resonate deeply with audiences.
